Elements

Look around, all the different types of materials which you see are all actually very interesting, different materials are used depending on what its properties are for example, wood is strong and looks like so these are two perfect properties to make a chair from. Every material is made from one or more elements, you can’t split a element into anything simpler. All elements have their own symbol so that its easier to understand for example its easier to write ‘pr’ than ‘praseodymium’ often the symbol will be the first two or one letter in its name to make it even easier however this is not always the case.
